Privacy Policy – Bliss

This policy explains what Bliss collects, why we collect it, and your choices.
Data we collect:
- Account data: name, email, phone number, and login details (via AWS Cognito, including Google/Apple sign-in if used)
- Profile data: optional profile photo
- Session data: microphone audio for live sessions, transcripts/text input, and optional feedback
- Device data: push notification token, OS/device details, and session/auth identifiers
Why we use this data:
- To create and manage your account
- To run live meditation sessions
- To send notifications
- To keep the app secure and reliable
Service providers:
We use AWS, Firebase, Deepgram, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs to run core app features.
Data sharing:
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with service providers that help us operate the app, or when required by law.
Private Mode:
Private Mode reduces/suppresses private session logging where implemented. Minimal technical/security logs may still be kept.
Permissions used:
- Microphone (live sessions)
- Camera/Photos (profile picture)
- Notifications
- Bluetooth (audio routing on some Android devices)
Data retention:
We keep data only as long as needed to provide the app and keep it secure. After account deletion, we delete or de-identify data where possible, except where limited technical/legal/security records must be retained.
Your choices:
You can delete your account in the app: Profile -> Delete Account.
Changes to this policy:
If we make important updates, we will post the updated version here with a new Last updated date.
