Privacy Policy – Bliss

Before you use Bliss live AI sessions, please review exactly what Bliss sends, who receives it, and how account and deletion data are handled. Continuing confirms that you have read this information and agree to this sharing when you use the live AI companion.
What Bliss collects in the app:
- Account data: name, email, phone number, and login details through AWS Cognito, including Google or Apple sign-in if used
- Profile data: your optional profile photo
- Session data: microphone audio for live AI sessions, transcripts, typed messages, and optional feedback
- Device data: push notification token, OS and device details, and session or auth identifiers
When Bliss shares data with AI providers:
If you start a live Bliss AI session or send text to the companion, Bliss shares the minimum data needed to run that feature after you agree to this policy.
What is sent to whom:
- Deepgram receives live microphone audio during AI sessions so Bliss can create a speech transcript
- OpenAI receives transcripts, typed messages, selected companion or persona context, and session context so Bliss can generate a response
- ElevenLabs receives the assistant reply text so Bliss can generate spoken audio for that reply
Other service providers:
- AWS Cognito receives account and login data so Bliss can create and manage your account
- Google or Apple receive sign-in data only if you choose those login methods
- Firebase Cloud Messaging receives push token and device messaging data so Bliss can send notifications
Why Bliss uses this data:
- To create and manage your account
- To run live AI meditation sessions
- To send notifications
- To keep the app secure and reliable
Data sharing:
Bliss does not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with service providers that help operate the app, or when required by law.
Permissions used:
- Microphone for live AI sessions
- Camera and Photos for your profile picture
- Notifications
- Bluetooth for audio routing on some Android devices
Data retention:
Bliss keeps data only as long as needed to provide the app and keep it secure. After account deletion, data is deleted or de-identified where possible, except where limited technical, legal, or security records must be retained.
Delete your account in the app:
- Open Bliss
- Go to Profile
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm
If you cannot access the app:
Email dhruv@unveilbliss.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include your account email and, if helpful, the phone number linked to your account.
Changes to this policy:
If we make important updates, we will post the updated version here with a new Last updated date.
